This is the finished piece from sketch in last post….ill be adding a process sheet for those interested in seeing how i got there. This is the start of a new painting….not a great pic, sorry but thought you might like to see my setup, so just an iphone photo. I like to keep my fav brushes, tools & media handy…Painter 2017’s new palette drawers make this so easy, while keeping plenty of canvas area to paint on. I’ll be putting together a little tutorial for this when finished. ©LionArt-MichelleWebb
This began as a traditional portrait of my best mate Kuma, but somewhere along the way i decided to show more of his persona with some water, sun & space. Water is Ku’s happy place, from an inch of mud to the surf beaches near home hes happiest when in the water. The rest of the painting was playing around with shapes, colours & layer methods…Commissions are always welcome, call or email me to discuss your vision for a new artwork for your home or office.
Hi guys, im adding a small category of my fav animal brushes…skin, hide & fur is the most important thing as it covers your structure when painting animals. These are my go to brushes, make sure you use brush tracking to calibrate them to your style of working. I love to see your work so shoot me a pic of what your doing…..enjoy- Lion Art

Nothing is stronger than a mothers love….human or animal. This is a painting I just finished for an exhibition Art For Apes…raising money for Center For Great Apes in the US. i loved painting these two as the connection between them is so apparent while they steal a moment of peace high up in the branches. Its vital we care for their habitat, so think of this before purchasing products with palm oil. We want these & other wildlife to be there for future generations to enjoy, but we also need each species as they form the eco system that keeps our planet healthy. For info on purchasing this or other artwork contact me. copyrite: Lion Art-Michelle Webb
Im currently very busy with upcoming exhibitions, submitting for various opportunities & working on a collection Painting Ponies ☺️ This is the first of the series with which be on exhibition early 2017… With a surprise……i hope! This little pony was painted in Corels newest version of Painter 2017……its a brilliant upgrade, with some fantastic new features & new brush categories that added to the arsonal we already had sets of the organic feeling Painter provides with texture & glazing to die for. Enjoy & if you would like a Painted Pony of your own, give me a call, email or msg. – ❤️ LionArt
